Day 10 Praying for our Husbands

Let us Pray:

That he might become a called man, not driven, with well-thought-through and prayed-through goals in life.

1 Cor. 9: 24-27 24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. 25 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 26 Well, I do not run aimlessly, I do not box as one beating the air; 27 but I pommel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

Dear Mary B. and dear sisters in Christ, last night my husband surprised me by taking me to an orientation meeting to the diaconate program. This is an answer to a prayer I started years ago for my husband to become a deacon. I was excited to be in that meeting and yet very peaceful. His name is Joe. Please say a prayer for him in this time of discernment. I thank you all! And God bless you abundantly!
